Once again India increased her solar power capacity to 5525 MW which gives a total solar power capacity of 12 GW. This report was submitted by Piyush Goyal the New & Renewable Energy minister of India. India has plans to add 5000 MW of rooftop solar and 10000 MW from large-scale solar power projects in the current financial year. India wishes to create a 40 percent increase in renewable energy sources at the end of 2030. This will happen with the help of transfer of technology and low-cost international finance.
