Is Athirapilly Power Project Good or Not?- An Analysis
Athirapilly Power Project is a hydro electric power project. It is proposed by KSEB. It is supposed to be a low cost hydel power project. But ecologists says this project may not produce enough power for their day to day operations. When it is implemented, water bodies and forest may be badly affected. Local bodies are against this project and protest movements were held.
